Witness the Origin Of Evil in the first trailer for the 'Ouija' prequel

Earlier this week, Universal Studios has dropped our first look at the upcoming prequel to 2014's box-office hit 'Ouija'. The film was financial success, grossing $103 million at the box-office (probably because it was the only horror film available during Halloween that year) but was universally scorned by critics. Directed by Mike Flanagan and co-written by Flanagan and Jeff Howard, this prequel will feature an entirely different cast from that of the first film, starring Elizabeth Reaser, Annalise Basso, Lulu Wilson, Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel & Alexis G. Zall. The film is produced by Blumhouse Productions, Platinum Dunes and Hasbro.

To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of the first movie. But after seeing the trailer for this prequel and with director Mike Flanagan on board to direct, I have a good feeling that this one's gonna be way better than the 2014 film. Plus, I always have a soft spot for period horror flicks. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think about it in the comments section.
'Ouija : Origin of Evil' is scheduled to be released on October 21, 2016 by Universal Pictures.
