Horror thriller 2 Jennifer, written, directed and starring
Hunter Johnson has been officially released on VOD on August 19th, 2016. The
film is a sequel to the 2013 movie To Jennifer by James Cullen Bressack (Blood
Lake; 13/13/13; Pernicious) and was shot entirely on an Apple iPhone 6.
The film stars Karianne Davis, Erin Marie Hogan, Erin
Killean and Felissa Rose, and revolves around two filmmakers who are trying to
film a sequel to James Cullen Bressack’s 2013 movie, with one of them hell bent
in finishing the project no matter what it takes, even if it will put lives in
danger along the process.
The film has received praises from critics and reviewers of Horror Society, stating that “2 Jennifer is the perfect horror sequel with massive appeal to those who follow the independent horror scene. It’s well written, chilling and frightening when you think that the scenario pictured within could happen in real life. It’s suspenseful, bloody and a justifiable sequel.” Jessy Williams of Scream magazine says “far from a failure and it is a surprisingly entertaining, refreshing and enjoyable watch.”.
