Plot: A beautiful, young college girl moves in to a house that streams X-rated videos on the internet. When a deranged fan hacks into their system to find their location, she is forced to fight for her own survival.

Kylie Atkins (Ali Cobrin) is a young, beautiful college girl who is in desperate need of money to support her studies and her mother. She decides to accept an offer from Gary Preston and joins his X-rated reality web series that is streamed from a secret house. She moves in to the house and became one of the most in-demand star of the porn site Girlhouse.

Soon, one deranges fan falls in love with her but his heart is soon broken after one of the other girls makes fun of his appearance. He kills the men behind the controls of the house and finds their secret location. Then, he starts to kill them off one by one.

A Reality Show kinda feel

You know what first comes to mind when I saw this movie? Big Brother. Yeah. The Endemol reality show which features a group of people who have to live with each other under one roof for a specific number of days in a house full of cameras everywhere. That’s how the House in Girlhouse works. The girls are under surveillance with dozens of cameras around the house to watch their very move. From their bathrooms to their bedrooms, they are always under watch. All of these are being streamed online to a porn site where men (and young boys) can watch them do ‘stuff’.

One girl plays around with some adult toys in front of the camera. Another one have sex with her girlfriend. Yup They’re lesbian. And they love doing it in front of the camera. There’s even another one who always have sex with his boyfriend who doesn’t really mind being watched by other guys on the internet.

Newcomer Kylie became the new star of the show. She also became the new apple of the eye of a frequent visitor of the website, who uses the alias Loverboy. He has grown fond of the girls, imagining them as his own wives. Kylie tries to be friendly to her, but after a stupid acts of one of the other girls who played around with his picture that he sent to Kylie and made fun of his appearance, his deranged side overtakes him and he tracks them down.

Great Kills

One of the things that I love with this film is it’s unapologetic violence. It’s kills are really hardcore. They’re bloody and gritty. You somehow feel sorry for these characters though with the way they die. But then, after a few seconds, you realize that it’s what makes the film enjoyable in the first place.

Some kills are really violent but some are a bit funny. One good example was the death of one of the porn stars inside the house who was having sex with his boyfriend while being filming themselves. Loverboy appears inside their room and attacks them, shoving a dildo inside the mouth of the girl down to her throat and taping her hand to her mouth so that she wont be able to remove it while slashing his partner to death. She dies choking from the dildo in her mouth.

Another of my favorites is when Loverboy attacks another porn star inside her room. She was currently strip teasing in front of the camera while boys around the globe watch her when the killer appears behind her and attacks her. He slash her face and cuts all her fingers in her hands, but he left her alive. Because she can’t accept living disfigured, she decides to kill herself instead by suffocating herself with a plastic bag wrapped around her head.

Verdict:

The film boasts a lot of suspense and dread, and not only relies on gore and violence. This is what makes this film a stand-out in the crowd.

It’s got all the goods that genre fans will love: sex, nudity, gore and a lot of blood. So if you get a chance to see this movie, I would definitely encourage you to watch it. It’s really a whole lot of fun.

Slickly executed. Fully satisfying.

I am giving this film 5 out of 5 stars.
