Milla Jovovich returns as Alice in the sixth and final installment of the hit sci-fi action-horror film, "Resident Evil : The Final Chapter". Based on the Capcom survival horror video game series, it is written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and stars Jovovich, Ali Larter, Ruby Rose, William Levy, Eoin Macken, Rola, Lee Joon-gi, and Iain Glen.The film follows the events of the previous film, Resident Evil : Retribution, after Alice, Jill, Leon, Ada, and Becky are betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. Alice must return where it all began - Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for one, final strike against the only remaining survivors of humanity. How will she face Umbrella's impending attack if she has already lost her superhuman abilities? Can she save humanity as it faces it's greatest threat?
Production of the film has been the topic of controversy in the past year or so as on of the actors (Jovovich' stunt double) got into an accident and ended up being paralyzed, with her left arm amputated and another one being crushed to death by one of the film's props. Filming finally concluded on on December 9, 2015. It is scheduled to be released on January 27, 2017 by Screen Gems.
