The New Pennywise the Clown comes to light

Just when you thought clowns couldn't be anymore scarier.

Entertainment Weekly has recently released the first official look of Pennywise the clown in the upcoming 2017 supernatural horror film and the second adaptation of Stephen King's novel "It". Bill Skarsgård plays Pennywise The Dancing Clown, who terrorizes seven children using their deepest fears. “The costume definitely incorporates all these otherworldly past lives, if you will,” Emmy-winning costume designer Janie Bryant said to Entertainment Weekly in an interview. “He is definitely a clown from a different time.” The new costume crafted was a form-fitting suit that draws upon a number of bygone times – among them Medieval, Renaissance, Elizabethan, and Victorian eras.

The film stars Bill Denbrough, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jack Grazer. Directed by Andrés Muschietti, and written by Gary Dauberman, Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga, and David Kajganich, it scheduled to be released by New Line Cinema on September 8, 2017.
